Anna's House is a most unusual town house, situated on a quiet, stepped street in the oldest part of town. Its most defining feature is the spacious patio full of potted flowers which will certainly be the place of choice for those who stay there. This fully restored town house retains many of its original features and feels more like a home than a holiday accommodation. The master bedroom balcony is furnished with a comfy sofa facing out to wonderful views of the harbour and Stafilos Valley. 1 bedroom (double bed)/1 bedroom studio (3 single beds) + 2 WC/shower rooms
This fully refurbished house in the oldest section of town has all of the elements one is looking for to feel part of a Greek community.
The main entrance leads into a roomy open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen. The space has cool terracotta tiles and the white covered sofas angle toward the corner fireplace and television area. One step higher is the kitchen and dining area. With a long table seating up to eight persons, it is obvious this house is for socializing and entertaining. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who enjoy cooking up sumptuous holiday feasts.
A flight of stairs lead to the master bedroom level of the house where there is a w/c shower room at the top of the stairs. The traditional master bedroom has open beamed ceilings and is furnished with a double sized iron bed and the closet runs the length of the wall. The most fabulous part of the bedroom though is the spacious balcony fading out to views of the harbour & Stafilos Valley covered in olive trees.
The lower bedroom is situated down an outside stairway from the main house and is entered through a small private patio. The room itself is very spacious with plenty of windows offering lots of light. All open plan, a kitchenette in the front end of the room has the facilities to make only coffee and has a fridge for cold drinks. The sofa doubles as an extra sleeping space which is made from a single mattress. The two single beds are situated in a recess at the back of the room, making a cool and comfortable space for catching up on ones sleep. Small decorative touches added throughout the house give it an artsy and special atmosphere. Quality paintings on the walls and interesting collectables added here and there, complete in making this tastefully decorated house a place to call home.

Even though sometimes possible, clients should not expect to check-in earlier than 14:00. On departure the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 unless otherwise arranged with our Service Office
Located on a stepped, cobbled street in the oldest quarter of town, the courtyard is accessed through a gated entrance. This beautiful courtyard is covered with mature trees and lovely potted flowers making a cool and quaint atmosphere. Anna’s House is the perfect picture of a typically white washed house with colourful blue shutters, railings and doors. The lighting at night creates such a lovely atmosphere that one can easily imagine spending more evenings at home than out. Whether for morning coffee or evening meals, the courtyard will leave you feeling like you are living in real Greek neighbourhood.With the maze of winding and picturesque streets of the old town at your feet, there are plenty of opportunities to explore. One of the oldest churches, which dates from 1600, Saint Georgios, is situated just around the corner from the house as is the Venetian fortress with its base stones dating from the 4th century B.C.
A walled stairway with dramatic views down the shear cliffs to the sea leads either up to the fortress or down to the harbour and is also found near to the house.
Within close proximity of the house is an open-air cafe, open from May to Mid- September, with stunning views out to sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos. A local supermarket is found within a five-minute walk and the waterfront and its shops, restaurants and cafes are a short 7-minute walk down the steep streets of the town. The small beach of Glyfoneri, at the bay of Agios Konstantinos can be reached in approximately twenty minutes walk from the house. There is a selection of local tavernas along the road down to the beach with wonderful views to the bay and beyond.
The fact that there is no airport on Skopelos can only enhance your holiday as it means that none of the big package holiday companies go there.
To get to Skopelos you fly to Skiathos from either Birmingham, East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester or Newcastle with most flights departing on Fridays. From Skiathos you take the Flying Dolphin which takes approx. 1 hour to reach Skopelos.
You will be met at Skiathos Airport where a taxi will be waiting to take you to the port for the next available hydrofoil or ferry. Another representative awaits your arrival on Skopelos.
Skopelos can also be reached by ferry from Agios Konstantinos on the mainland.
