Perhaps the best feature about these apartments is that you'll be able to relax in the tranquil surroundings of Vafios while being only 5km away from Molyvos.
Set within their own private grounds, these apartments have superb sea views and their own gardens. This one-bedroom apartment also has a shaded terrace with table and chairs, providing the perfect opportunity for al fresco dining.
The owners have put loving care and attention in the apartment's furnishings. There is a spacious lounge/diner with a modern kitchenette which has a dining table, cosy sofas, air-conditioning and those marvellous views. You'll find a TV here as well, with a DVD player for quiet nights in. The kitchenette is well-equipped with fridge/freezer, oven with hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker.
In the light, airy bedroom you'll discover twin beds and air-conditioning for that all-important good night's sleep. Adjacent to the bedroom is the bathroom with a shower over the bath, a WC and a washing machine.

The Villa Panteliou Apartments are located in Vafios, a traditional village just 5km from Molyvos.
Molyvos is the most important town on the northern coast of Lesvos. It is a vibrant cultural centre with a wealth of traditional architecture. The hilltop fort that dominates the town is spectacularly lit up at night, and with the pretty harbour forms the main focal points of the town. There is a range of tavernas, restaurants, bars and shops to satisfy the widest tastes. As the the town is mostly pedestrianised, everything is within easy walking distance.
Lesvos has regular flights arriving from the UK from Gatwick and Manchester on Thursdays.
The first direct flights start towards the end of April and several flights a day operate on Thursdays until mid October. The flight time is approximately three and a half hours and you fly into the island capital of Mytilini.
Another option (and one we would recommend you consider) is to combine your Lesvos holiday with a couple of nights in Athens. You can fly into Athens from the UK on any day and there are flights from Athens to Lesvos every day.

Lesvos is a (rightly) popular Greek Island destination for birding. It is inhabited by many species, including Kruper's Nuthatch, Cinereous Bunting, Sombre Tit, Cretzschmar's Bunting, Western Rock Nuthatch, Olive-tree Warbler, Masked Shrike, Hoopoe, European Roller, European Bee-eater and Eastern Olivaceous and Great Reed Warblers. Lesvos is also an excellent migration spot and we would particularly recommend April/May time. During your holiday in Lesvos you can gain maximum birding opportunities with the help of our local representation.
