Property details

This stylish three-bed villa offers high quality accommodation, a private pool and good beach access ...

Villa Telina is located on Kefalonia's beautiful south coast, in a hillside position that offers fabulous sea views as far as Zakynthos. The villa lies just above Trapezaki beach which is one of many fine sandy beaches that stretch the length of the South coast. These beaches shelve gently into the turquoise Ionian Sea and offer excellent swimming.

Trapezaki is a quiet hamlet yet offers essentials such as a bakery, a shop and two good tavernas within walking distance. The beach is a little further and most guests choose to take their car.

Orientated to South, Telina provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy this wonderful setting. The pool terraces, living areas and bedroom balconies all offers views to the sea and over the surrounding countryside.

Telina is beautifully designed over three levels. The entrance leads into the upper ground floor where there is a living area, double bedroom with shower room and stairs up to an en-suite twin room on a mezzanine level. A second flight of stairs leads to the lower ground floor. This is the heart of the villa and features an open plan kitchen and stylish living area with a wide sliding door that opens the room to the sunny terrace. Beyond the living room there is a second double room and a further shower room.

Tastefully furnished throughout, Telina offers style and comfort in equal measure. Cool light interiors and a terrace that offers both full sun and naturally shaded spots make Telina a chic retreat for discerning visitors to Kefalonia. With all the essential amenities nearby and a choice of sandy beaches, Villa Telina has become a firm favourite with all of us at SunIsle Holidays.

Location

Trapezaki, Kefalonia

Situated between the tiny harbour of Pessada and Lourdas is the fertile valley of Trapezaki which is home to some of the best beaches on Kefalonia.

Below the chapel of the Madonna and its pine trees there is a tiny fishing port with a taverna and a long sandy beach. The beach is natural and quiet with a few sunloungers and umbrellas so you are bound to find a quiet corner. The gently shelving beach is ideal for children and the sea is crystal clear .

This tranquil area is situated only twenty five kilometres south of the cosmopolitan island capital of Argostoli and is a perfect base for exploring this stunning Ionian Island.

Why Holiday in Kefalonia?

Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands, but among the least commercialised. The coastline offers mile after mile of sandy beaches and unspoilt rural areas that are waiting to be explored.

The weather on the island of Kefalonia consists of rainy winters and dry, hot summers. With higher winter rainfall, Kefalonia boasts verdant plains, forests and hillsides dotted with grazing mountain goats.

Great food is certainly a feature of Kefalonia. Feta cheeses from goats and ewes milk, olives and fresh fish from the ports at Sami, Poros, Argostoli and Fiskardo are among the islands' specialities served at excellent tavernas across Kefalonia. Our full listing of Kefalonia holiday accommodation includes villas, cottages and apartment options.

You do need a car and a good map. The local restaurants were not cheap and the food is okay but not spectacular. (July 2010)
Having read your customer feedback, I was very glad to have hired a car. I would also say that this property may not be suitable for your more elderly customers. (May 2010)
