Villa Eleni is a fabulous villa located in one of the most beautiful parts of Zante - the Vassilikos Peninsular. The villa sits in a peaceful setting with panoramic sea views. The village of Xerocastro is within easy reach, and there is a choice of beautiful sandy beaches - which this part of the island is famous for - within a couple of minutes drive.
Villa Eleni has been traditionally designed and built using local stone and provides high quality accommodation for up to five people. There is a good sized swimming pool with large shaded terraces providing views across the sparkling Ionian sea. A built-in barbecue, table and chairs, sun umbrellas and sun loungers and pool towels are all provided for your relaxation.
The villa is air-conditioned throughout and finished to a high standard. The living area is comfortably furnished and has a separate dining area for six. There are french doors from the lounge that lead out to the pool terrace. The modern fully-equipped kitchen has everything that you might need for your convenience, and the first bathroom is located on this floor and has a shower, hand basin and w.c.
Going up to the first floor there are two good-sized bedrooms which are beautifully furnished, the first is double and has a private terrace with sea views. The second large bedroom is also a double and has an additional single bed so sleeps up to three if required. The main bathroom is on this floor and has both a full bath and shower.
In addition to having some of the most beautiful and natural countryside on the island, the Vassilikos peninsula has several fine sandy beaches that are excellent for kids and beach bums. The area has not been subjected to the ravages of mass tourism and is a great place to go to if you enjoy a quieter holiday in beautiful natural surroundings.
There are plenty tavernas and mini-markets conveniently dotted along roads and you will also come across the occasional beach taverna when walking along the soft golden sands of Plaka or the lovely endless Ionian beach which is backed by sand dunes and is completely natural.
Of course there is still plenty to do if you want to seek it out, in St Nicholas you will find the islands watersports centre with a full range of activities, and Argassi will provide a comprehensive range of shops, restaurants and nightlife for those looking for a little more excitement.
Hot summers and warm evenings are assured on this southernmost Ionian Island. Visitors will find established resorts with plenty of amenities and activities to keep the children busy.
We specialise in Zante villas and apartments outside resorts and in quieter areas on the island such as Bouka and Vassilikos. Enjoy the calm turquoise waters that lap golden beaches along the South coast or explore the more rugged Northern corners of the island. Shipwreck Bay (Navagio Beach) and the Blue Caves are certainly worth seeing.

The majority of Zante flights depart on Sundays and Thursdays. There are no flights from the UK available on Saturdays, when direct flight instead run from Cork and Dublin. Daily flights to Zante are available from Athens Airport.

Zante is known as the most important nesting ground for the endangered species of loggerhead sea-turtles, the Caretta-Caretta, and a national marine park had been created to protect and preserve these creatures. During the summer months, holidaymakers can visit Kalamaki or Laganags and take a glass-bottomed boat trip to view the turtles in their natural habitat and even swim with them.
