This independent villa occupies an idyllic, elevated position in extensive lawned gardens immediately above sandy Yalos beach set on the beautiful north coast of Corfu. The villa is approached by a country lane that winds its way through a densely wooded valley until it reaches wonderfully secluded Yalos Beach. This beautiful, lush corner of Corfu remains totally unspoilt.
With the popular resorts of Roda and Sidari both within a few minutes drive, Yalos Beach House is within easy reach of a wide variety of amenities available whilst offering guests a truly private holiday experience. Yalos Beach has a noted fish taverna, so guests also have excellent eating within walking distance of the villa.
This independent villa is air-conditioned and offers spacious accommodation for up to seven guests. The reception area has large triple aspect windows that create a light and airy atmosphere, particularly in the lounge. The dining room has a suite for six and the villa comes complete with a modern fitted kitchen that is fully equipped for all your cater needs.
The ground floor accommodation incorporates the master bedroom which has a double bed and a further twin bedroom, both rooms have glass doors opening out onto a terrace with sea views. The main bathroom includes a corner bath, shower, hand basin, bidet and w.c. The first floor is given over to a large duplex bedroom which has a double bed and a single bed on the raised level. There is a second bathroom with shower, basin and w.c. on this floor.
The outside spaces are delightful, with both the large upper terrace, and the lower pool terrace providing uninterrupted views of the beach and sea. The large pool (depth 0.6m to 1.8m) includes a child's section and is furnished with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a shady pergola with table and chairs. There is a built in barbecue and an external marble dining table for six.
If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday filled with sun, sand and sea; with direct access to the sandy beach (and no roads to cross), combined with peace and quiet, you will not find a better holiday option.
The villa has an onsite caretaker who is employed to look after the gardens of the villa and its general maintenance.
Perhaps the best known of the resorts on the North coast of Corfu, Sidari has grown up around two fishing villages and has become especially popular with English tourists. Set in a bay that is surrounded by wooded hills, Sidari has a long sandy beach flanked by smaller sand and shingle beaches either side. This Blue Flag beach shelves gently into the warm sea making it an excellent beach for swimming and a safe one for children to go paddling. Water sports are also available for the more energetic!
Beach lovers will enjoy exploring this coastline where the soft sandstone cliffs have been eroded over the years to form numerous little coves and bays that create hidden beaches and secluded spots. The Canal d'Amour, a channel calved into the sandstone cliff by the sea, is a popular attraction.
Sidari offers a lively atmosphere with plenty of tavernas, restaurants and bars open late into the night. This good-sized resort also provides plenty of shops and amenties. Those seeking a quieter more authentic Greek experience will enjoy discovering tavernas in nearby villages and on beaches along this beautiful coastline.
