Villa Oliva is a smart, modern property that has been a popular choice since its addition three seasons ago. The villa is fully air-conditioned and offers excellent value for money for families seeking a relaxing Corfu holiday.
Nearby Agios Stephanos has a range of good tavernas and a couple of low-key bars offering a little nightlife. Boats also collect from small pontoons on the beachfront to take diners to tavernas on neighbouring beaches. This extra variety means guests can choose to eat in a different restaurant each night of the week!
During the day there are numerous beaches to explore as well as activities such as horse riding or sailing. Boat hire is available from Agios Stephanos and this is a popular way to explore nearby coves and bays. The larger resort of Kassiopi is less than 10 minutes drive from the villa for those looking for a bit more excitement in the evenings or for amenities such as cashpoints and internet cafes.
Villa Oliva has an open-plan layout and provides good quality accommodation for guests. Comfortably furnished throughout, there is a modern kitchen that is fully-equipped with everything needed if you prefer to cook at home. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms which are arranged as two doubles and a twin and share two modern bathrooms - both with showers. The double and one twin have French windows which open out onto a good-sized private terrace with great views from the rear of the villa across a green valley of olive trees and woodland.
Villa Oliva has a beautiful swimming pool with extensive pool terraces which boast fabulous views over the olive groves and a partial view of the sea. There is also an outside barbecue to fully enjoy the mild Corfiot evenings.
We do recommend a hire car to get the most from your holidays but for those of you who enjoy walking and consider themselves to be fit, Agios Stephanos is in walking distance ... although it is uphill all the way back!
The pretty little harbour of Agios Stephanos is renowned as being one of the most attractive places to stay on the upmarket north-east coast of Corfu.
This picturesque fishing village has a charming, traditional feel to it but offers a choice of shops, some excellent tavernas - we particularly like The Eucalyptus, and a couple of quite sophisticated bars for those of you looking for some nightlife.
Agios Stephanos has its own small beach with wooden jettys which are ideal for sunbathing or fishing and you can rent a boat here if you fancy touring the pretty bays that run up and down the coastline here.
The blue flag beach at Kerasia is only a twenty minute walk away through some lovely countryside, and the stunning Avlaki beach which has two tavernas and a sailing school for windsurfers and dinghy sailing, is a 5 minute drive away.
Agios Stephanos has a lot to offer its guests; a beautiful little harbour with a great choice of facilities; blue flag beaches on your doorstep and wonderful views over to the mainland. Little wonder that visitors choose to return to this spot time and time again.
