Possibly our most popular apartments! A panoramic setting with fabulous sea views and a stunning pool have made these a firm favourite.
Please note that apartments 1 & 7 only have slight sea views.
Beautiful Kalami Bay with its lovely beach is one of the prettiest spots on Corfu and is always popular with couples and families alike. There are no nightclubs or music bars but a good selection of tavernas and a quiet village ambiance.
The setting of Kalami Bay Apartments is among the very best in Kalami - an elevated position behind the harbour that commands stunning views. The waterfront with all its facilities is a gentle two to three hundred metre walk. A new, large swimming pool was completed last winter and has extensive sun terraces furnished with loungers and umbrellas. There is also a children's pool (3.5m x 4m, 0.45m depth) that is ideal for toddlers.
Kalami Bay is a small scale development of six studios and six apartments set on two floors - raised ground and first floor levels with both offering a degree of privacy from the pool terrace. The apartments are air-conditioned in the bedrooms and are spacious and bright with high ceilings. Each apartment offers a well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with bath and shower, and an air-conditioned twin bedroom with doors that open onto the balcony.
The comfortable living area has a sofa bed suitable for sleeping two small children and a dining suite for four as well as French windows that open onto a private balcony with superb sea views (please note that some apartments have partial sea views).
For larger groups or extended families one or more apartments can be booked together with Kalami Bay Studios.

Kalami Bay, Corfu
Beautiful Kalami Bay is renowned as the place where Lawrence Durrell wrote 'Prospero's Cell' in the 1930's. The book brought Corfu to the attention of the English and so began their love affair with the island and their friendship with its people.
Yet, despite its fame, this delightful village retains a traditional and peaceful atmosphere and is geared very much towards anyone hoping for a quieter, family holiday.
Why Holiday in Corfu?
Corfu is one of the more popular Greek holiday islands and is well served by charter and budget airlines. This beautiful, lush green Greek island comes as an unexpected and unforgettable surprise for first time visitors. Avoiding the busier south, SunIsle offer hand-picked properties among the picture postcard fishing harbours of the north-east and sandy bays on the west coast.
Of particular note is Kalami, a small and "un-touristy" resort with plenty of tavernas, small shops and charm. Slightly further up the coast is the swish bay of Agios Stephanos, where boats pull up to the sea-front tavernas and you can swim from the beaches into the sheltered waters.
How To Get There
Flights to Corfu are available from the following UK airports:
Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Stansted, Teeside.
The majority of flights depart on Mondays and Fridays. Daily flights to Corfu are available from Athens Airport.
SunIsle Holidays offer a full travel service including flights, car hire and private taxi transfers as well as apartments, hotels and villas on an accommodation-only basis.

Kalami is peaceful and authentic little village, and the Kalami Bay Apartments are in an excellent location with one of the best pools in the village. (June 2010)
It was very close to the beach, supermarkets and tavernas. Also the view from the pool area was lovely. The information pack in the apartment was good but a little too general. (June 2010)

Kalami Bay, Corfu ...
Traditionally greek in quiet location - Kalami is a hidden gem (June 2010)
Convenient for beach and local faclities. (June 2010)
Close to all the amenities but very quiet and private with a stunning view of the bay. Also at the quieter end of the resort. I have been to Kalami 3 times and am always blown away by such an idyllic location where very little changes. (June 2010)
Quiet, picturesque, nice village feel, nice pool, authenticity and charm of local area. I liked being able to see several detailed photos of the accomodation via the website, and the link to Google Maps was very useful and accurate. (June 2010)
The beach at Kalami was one of the best I have been to in Greece (June 2010)
A quiet village location within easy walking distance of the beach, supermarkets and tavernas. We hope to return to Kalami next year. (May 2010)
The location was fantastic. It was fairly quiet and you could walk for miles along the coast, come to an almost empty beach, swim then walk on to the next cove and have lunch at a taverna. (May 2010)
I have been going to Kalami for a very long time and love the resort. (May 2010)
The people were incredibly friendly and the village was beautiful. The tavernas were excellent and good value for money. It was very peaceful - perfect. (May 2010)
Kalami Bay is a very attractive, peaceful and quiet location with a lovely beach - ideal for a peaceful restful break. There is lots to do nearby if required and good tavernas, and lovely beaches to be found near the village. (September 2009)
We have been to Kalami before and like it because it is quiet, pretty, the locals are friendly and it has very good restaurants. (September 2009)
Customer Service
Service and comunication were very good (June 2010)
Keep doing what you're doing! You provide an extremely personal service which I haven't really encountered before with other companies. The person who took my booking was friendly and helpful, and requested a sea view for me which we got. The information supplied beforehand was excellent, and the rep in the resort was really friendly and checked to make sure we were ok. Would have no hesitation in recommending SunIsle for their friendly and personal service, something which is all too often missed these days. (June 2010)
We had a lovely time, and it was brilliant that Rachel let us have a late check out as we weren't flying until 22.30, it really help us enjoy our last day to the full. (June 2010)
Your customer service team was extremely helpful - both on the telephone and via email.
(May 2010)
The SunIsle service was great and our holiday went very smoothly. (May 2010)
Great service. I would particularly like to mention our rep, who was brilliant. She met us at the airport and always available to speak to if we needed her. She is a very good rep for your company. (May 2010)
The best service I have ever received during my time of organising holidays. I particularly liked the fact that there was someone available over the weekend. I think that you are an extremely professional company and I am giving out your name to everyone I know. (May 2010)
Everything was very efficiently and simply organised - and everything worked. Well done SunIsle for what was a pretty perfect holiday. (September 2009)
The SunIsle staff were all very helpful and informative. Nothing could have been improved - our holiday was great. Arrival at the airport was very smooth and we were on our way within half an hour. (September 2009)
Everyone we dealt with at SunIsle was courteous and friendly. Your service is just great. (September 2009)
We had an excellent holiday with SunIsle and now feel suitably chilled! Thank you. (September 2009)
Other Comments
Kitchen toaster would be useful [note - thank you for the feedback, we'll investigate] (June 2010)
Kiss Viking flights were excellent. We were a bit worried as we had poor reports on the internet but both flights were on time and served complementary meals with first class service. (June 2010)
The turn by turn directions were abolutely excellent, especially as we arrived late at night in the dark. (June 2010)
The best food in Kamali is definitely Thomas's Place. Also don't miss the Greek Night at Nicholas Taverna in Agni, you can book your table and boat transfer at the small tourist office that is on the footpath to the beach from the main road through Kalami. Also walk over to Kaloura and have lunch at the taverna in the harbour, the food is excellent. (June 2010)
Take a torch and sensible shoes for the lovely walks (a pair of flip flops will not get you far)! (May 2010)
If you are a person who likes sandy beaches then this is not possibly not the location for you. (May 2010)
A car adds to the holiday but is not essential. (September 2009)
Aqualand (Family Fun)
One of Europe's largest water parks, Aqualand with its numerous white knuckle rides and its relaxing lazy river is the perfect destination for the whole family to cool off and have fun.
Off the beaten track (Mountain Biking)
From family bike rides, to energetic off-roading, an excellent way to see Corfu is by mountain bike. Venture off the beaten track and travel along the country roads and donkey trails to discover the islands' charm, from the mountains and vineyards to hidden villages and unspoilt beaches.
