Why not tie the knot on a quiet Greek island

Loved-up couples might want to consider tying the knot on a Greek island holiday after hearing the following comments.
Ron Cropper is the marketing director at Wedding & Honeymoons Abroad and explained getting married overseas is a popular option for many people.
Having the happy day in another country can be a lot cheaper than in the UK, he noted, adding the average cost of a ceremony and reception in this country is £18,000 – whereas elsewhere it could cost as little as £100.
Another advantage of saying "I do" abroad is the bride and groom can stay there for a week or so after the big day to enjoy a quiet Greek island break.
"If they have a wedding overseas, they usually tie up the wedding and the honeymoon together," said Mr Cropper.
For a romantic ceremony and getaway, a Greece villa holiday might be ideal – such as staying in an Andros hotel or apartment.
It is the northernmost Cycladic island, consisting of three mountains and a choice of wide, sandy beaches or smaller secluded stretches of coast.
For things to do in Andros during the honeymoon there is the ancient port of Paleoplis or the Byzantine Church of Taxiarchon in Messaria.
