'See Little Venice' on holidays in Mykonos

Travellers who have booked accommodation in Mykonos might find that a trip from their resort to the region of Little Venice - described as a "beautiful part of town" by one travel writer - is enjoyable.
The Daily Mirror's Lara Kilner made this observation, noting that the area boasts buildings that have been constructed on the edge of the sea, many of which have their balconies jutting out over the water.
"Most of the island's hippest bars and tavernas are here," she remarked, adding that tourists will also be able to find Paraportiani church, which is actually five religious houses in one and was originally built in 1475.
"The stunning landscape is dotted with pretty white churches and white-washed buildings," Ms Kilner continued.
Summer time in Mykonos could very well be entertaining, as ana-mpr.gr recently reported that all sorts of events are going on during the warmer months, such as theatre performances, art exhibitions and dance recitals.
