New Island (Published: 02 July 2009)

Greek island specialist, Sunisle, has added Milos holiday s to its programme, making it one of the few operators in the UK to feature this picturesque Cycladic island with its volcanic landscape and stunning rock formations. The island is famous for being the place where the Venus de Milo statue was first discovered. Nowadays, visitors to Milos will discover over 70 delightful beaches, some great little tavernas, a scattering of traditional houses and a very warm welcome.

The addition of Milos to the Sunisle programme means that the company now features Greek Island holidays more than 20 Greek islands, ranging from the unspoilt and peaceful resorts of Crete, Corfu and Zante to tiny gems such as Lefkas, Skopelos and Kea (which is also featured exclusively by Sunisle in the UK). Holiday accommodation on Milos includes villas for rental, studios, hotels, cottages, village houses and apartments in Greece. Like Kea, Milos is easily accessible by ferry from Piraeus (4 hour high speed crossing) or plane, allowing visitors to take advantage of low cost flights to Athens.
