Greek island holiday 'could make perfect birthday break'

Jetting off for a Greek island holiday could be a good way to celebrate a birthday, if one person's trip is anything to go by.
Irma Saganda, writing in the New Jersey Record, outlined her trip in commemoration of her husband's 60th birthday.
Her family decided to travel to the country, where her sister has a Greek holiday villa in Saronida "which is often referred to as the Greek Riviera", she writes.
One of the highlights of the trip were visits to the islands of Mykonos and Santorini.
Here, visitors can enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, along with breathtaking views of the volcano and neighbouring islands.
Santorini.com has also noted the island's dark sandy beaches and domed churches.
In addition, the family went on excursions to Athens, where the family saw the Parthenon.
Ms Saganda even offered tips for people heading to the ancient landmark, advising fellow travellers to choose a cool day and take plenty of water when visiting the Acropolis and surrounding sites.
