Couple's Peloponnese adventure may inspire Greek island holiday

People considering a Greek island holiday may be inspired by the adventure of one couple.
Jim and Caroline Baerselman told the Daily Mail about their odyssey that took them around the Greek Peloponnese.
The pair decided to spend five years sailing round the Mediterranean in a yacht when they retired and fell in love with the fishing hamlet of Finicounda, where they decided to buy a villa.
Finicounda has many of the assets that can be found on a quiet Greek island holiday , such as the sandy beaches, laid-back lifestyle and tranquil remoteness.
"I've seen a fair bit of Greece and this area feels very authentic," said Mr Baerselman.
"It's ideal for people who enjoy being somewhere foreign but who are also happy to be slightly outside their comfort zone."
Holidaymakers looking for a relaxing getaway may find that Paxos is and appealing destination.
According to Paxos Life Activities, the island has stunning scenery, quiet, scenic bays and pretty villages.
