How To Get There
The fact that there is no airport on Skopelos can only enhance your holiday as it means that none of the big package holiday companies go there.
To get to Skopelos you fly to Skiathos from either Birmingham, East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester or Newcastle with most flights departing on Fridays. From Skiathos you take the Flying Dolphin which takes approx. 1 hour to reach Skopelos.
You will be met at Skiathos Airport where a taxi will be waiting to take you to the port for the next available hydrofoil or ferry. Another representative awaits your arrival on Skopelos.
Skopelos can also be reached by ferry from Agios Konstantinos on the mainland.
SunIsle Holidays offer a full travel service including flights, car hire and private taxi transfers as well as apartments, hotels and villas on an accommodation-only basis.

The Insider
Charm in abundance
Midway between Skiathos and Alonissos sits Skopelos - the greenest of all the Greek islands with its captivating contrast of dense green forests and deep blue sea and sky. This is an idyllic place - a small piece of paradise in the very heart of the Sporades.
Skopelos has a strong sense of tradition and a relaxed pace of life. Despite its size, there are around 360 churches, monasteries and convents scattered across the island, together with a number of ancient ruins.
The main town is considered by many to be one of the prettiest anywhere in the Greek islands. Attractive whitewashed houses cascade down the hillside to the charming harbour - a designated conservation area - where the ruins of a Venetian castle provide the perfect backdrop for the tavernas, bars and cafes which line the waterfront.
The island is fringed by endless deserted sand and shingle beaches - most of which have safe and shallow waters which are ideal for children, and at almost every turn there is a panoramic view of a neighbouring island or a secret cove.
Add to this the fine, locally produced wine for which Skopelos is famed and you've got all the elements needed for fabulous Greek Island holiday.
Skiathos Airport serves Skopelos, and you will be transferred from there to the Island by Flying Dolphin, which takes approximately 45 minutes.
