Fira has been the capital of Santorini since early in the 19th century. Perched on the edge of an impressive cliff, Fira offers a great panorama over the submerged volcano, while the small streets reveal all manner of treasures from various local shops, jewelleries, cafe, restaurants, bars and night clubs.

Seated between Fira and Imerovigli, the village of Firostefano (Firostephano) enjoys some of the best view on the island. Fira can be reached by a short walk but you can enjoy the distinct village feel rather than the more bustling capital.

Imerovigli is often described as 'the balcony of Santorini', a vibrant village in the north of Santorini, it conveniently lies only a couple of kilometres from the island capital of Fira. Its beautiful views of Santorini's caldera and the breathtaking sunsets, makes it one of the top areas in Greece for accommodation.

Kamari, situated on the southeast side of Santorini, was completely rebuilt after the 1956 earthquake. The town has spread along its two-mile beach with bars/tavernas and souvenir shops creating a colourful and lively seafront. The area is famous for its beautiful beach extends all the way to Monolithos and for its green landscape.

The picturesque village of Oia, is located at the top of a steep cliff in north-western Santorini. It is famous for its unique view of the Santorini volcano, Caldera and Aegean Sea, as well as its whitewashed houses and narrow streets. Oia is 11km from Fira and a similar distance from the airport.

Perissa is home to one of the best beaches in Santorini best beaches, next to Emporio village. The crystal water and the smooth sand lie right next to Profitis Ilias mountain, protecting the beach from the summer Aegean winds.
