Charter flights direct to Mykonos are available from Gatwick on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and from Manchester on Thursdays and Fridays. There are also flights from Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Santorini and Crete during the summer season.

Facts & Figures
Mykonos (also known as Myconos), perhaps the most well-known of the Cyclades, is situated between the islands of Tinos, Siros, Paros and Naxos. Home to approximately 6,000 residents, the island has one main town called Mykonos (also Chora) and smaller outlying villages. The island spans an area of 86 kmē and rises to 364m at its highest point.
Entertainment
The island is renowned for its cosmopolitan character and intense nightlife. The club scene in the main town rivals that of Ibiza, drawing young backpackers and gay holiday makers. But this sun-kissed Mediterranean island also offers quieter picturesque locations and some stunning scenery.
The Hora (old town) is a photogenic maze of whitewashed buildings with turquoise shutters and clusters of bougainvillea. Here visitors can find first class restaurants, with cuisine ranging from Japanese fusion to the simple seafood and Greek staples of traditional tavernas.
Exploring The Island
There is an excellent bus service between Mykonos Town and the main beaches. Alternatively take a water taxi from Platys Gialos beach to Paranga, Paradise, Super Paradise and Elia beaches.
